The DTC Awards (DTCAs) recognise the very best direct-to-consumer businesses.

We are welcoming entries from DTC brands who are standing out in a time of unprecedented innovation, and are excelling in areas including marketing, user experience, and sustainability.

The DTCAs will accept entries from direct-to-consumer brands working in industries such as:

Fashion;
Fintech;
Health & Wellness;
Beauty;
Apparel;
Food & Drink;
Travel & Tourism;
Home & Garden;
Pets;
and other B2C verticals.

The DTCAs will be open for entry from 30 August 2019 until 18 October 2019.
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony held on 19 March 2020.

Best Use of Social

This award recognises the most effective use of social media by a DTC brand. Judges will be looking for the campaign that best showcases innovative use of social platforms to meet predetermined KPIs, such as raising brand awareness or driving purchases, while demonstrating delivery of optimum ROI.

Best Use of Video

This award recognises the most effective use of an online video campaign by a DTC brand. Judges will be looking for the campaign that best showcases innovative use of online video advertising to meet predetermined KPIs, such as raising brand awareness or driving purchases, while demonstrating delivery of optimum ROI.

Best TV campaign

This award recognises the most effective use of a TV campaign by a DTC brand. Judges will be looking for the campaign that best showcases innovative use of TV advertising to meet predetermined KPIs, such as raising brand awareness or driving purchases, while demonstrating delivery of optimum ROI.

Best OOH campaign

This award recognises the most effective use of an out of home (OOH) campaign by a DTC brand. Judges will be looking for the campaign that best showcases innovative use of OOH advertising to meet predetermined KPIs, such as raising brand awareness or driving purchases, while demonstrating delivery of optimum ROI.

Best Launch campaign

This award recognises a marketing campaign that successfully generated buzz, increased awareness, or drove sales for a new product or initiative.

Best use of PR

This award recognises the most effective use of a PR by a DTC brand. Judges will be looking for the campaign that best showcases innovative use of PR to meet predetermined KPIs, such as raising brand awareness or driving purchases, while demonstrating delivery of optimum ROI.

Best email campaign

This award recognises the most effective use of an email campaign by a DTC brand. Judges will be looking for the campaign that best showcases innovative email marketing to meet predetermined KPIs, such as raising brand awareness or driving purchases, while demonstrating delivery of optimum ROI.

Best Subscription service

This award recognises a DTC subscription service that has successfully built, and is maintaining a loyal customer base. Judges will be looking for a business that is using customer data to acquire and keep customers by enhancing their advertising and product offering.

Best use of customer data

This award recognises the DTC business that has most effectively used customer insights in order to alter processes in a way that has enabled the business to meet predetermined goals, such as brand awareness or driving purchases.

Most innovative DTC brand

This award recognises the DTC brand who has effectively moved their company forward through new product development, processes and technology incorporation.

Best e-commerce experience

This award recognises the DTC brand with the most seamless e-commerce experience. Judges will be looking at customer feedback, purchase intent and favourability.

Best personalisation strategy

This award recognises the DTC brand who, through the use of AI, customer data intelligence, and other tools, has been able to tailor the shopping experience to each customer.

Best mobile strategy

This award recognises the DTC brand whose mobile strategy has had the greatest success in achieving predetermined KPIs, such as customer engagement, purchases via mobile, or driving web traffic.

Most responsible DTC business

This award recognises the DTC brand who, as proven through initiatives, is the most socially and environmentally responsible.

DTC business of the Year

The winner of this award will be chosen by DTC Daily from the list of winners in all other categories. We will be looking for a clear strategic vision, exceptional application of innovative technology, and tangible performance uplift against KPIs (brand or direct response).
